Tuesday, October 31, 2006 i took my olvls chinese ystd.. entered the air-conditioned hall again, not much diff, jus tat the atmosphere is much more tense compared to my prelims.. as tis is our 1st time takin such a major exam for the hmt students, we were rather blur about our seatin arrangement.. we onli managed to find our seats after walkin around the hall.. lolx.. many other ppl were oso struggling to find their seats, tats why the chief invigilator was quite unhappy about it.. paper 1 was quite okay, bt for paper 2, i tink time management is realli needed.. cos is lyk the paper consists of 1 fill in the blanks passage, 3 mcq compre and 2 writin compre.. imagine if we hv to complete all those in jus 1 and a half hrs.. its realli quite tough.. the paper ended at 12.05, and for me, i wrote finished the last word at 12.. lolx, luckily.. =p after the exam, i met up wif kylie and yy to find jobs at j8 and thomson plaza.. we tried to ask for vacancies at j8 crystal jade and ding tai feng, bt they say they're no longer hiring part-timers.. so we decided to try our luck at thomson plaza.. we approached popular, and they asked us to fill up an employment form.. hope they will accept our application.. =) Sunday, October 29, 2006 todae i went out wif qh, ly, grace, ah ma and singyee.. our 1st stop was cineleisure, cos we wanted to go to the lime flea market.. on our way dere, a gal approached us and say whether we can helped her to do a survey.. at 1st, we thought it was jus an on-the-spot survey.. in the end, we were told tat we r supposed to go to the office at the 2nd storey of the buildin, and we still hv to pretend tat we're 20 yrs old.. we were lyk quite amused, cos we dun even looked lyk our age is 20..tat gal then choosed qh, ly and grace to go up wif her since they r the ones hu looked more mature.. the gal actualli oso wanted me to go up wif her, bt i dun want.. lolx.. so while waitin for them, ah ma, sy and i went to kfc and eat our "breakfast".. so we jus chat and chat until they came back.. we then went into the flea market, which was quite diff frm wat i tot.. i tot dere will be more shops and in an orderly arrangement..bt frm wat i see, its rather small and its quite cramped.. so we headed to heeren after tat, and realised tat the wallet shop closed down le.. lolx.. we walked past a shoppin area and were busy lookin at the shoes.. ah ma wanted to buy, bt dun hv her size.. so we walked further down, looked at rings, clothes etc.. finally, we reached plaza singapura.. we went to the arcade and play, and went to shop at the doby ghaurt x'change.. i bought 2 pair of earrings together wif sy.. and the best part of the day is tat me, ly and ah ma went to eat the pepper lunch!!! its realli yummy.. we orderd spicy chicken pepper rice set and we realli had fun mixin the rice wif butter and the sauce together in a hot plate.. the thought of it makes me feel lyk eatin it again.. =p Thursday, October 26, 2006 time flies.. todae is the last day of sch.. it still seems lyk it was still the first day of sch at the beginning of the yr.. sch was especially boring todae.. cos we gt no lessons or any programmes for us to attend, and so we jus wander around the sch for the whole day.. and during the principal's talk, we were told tat 2 teachers will be leaving the sch.. and one of them is mrs yap.. lolx.. we were quite shocked actualli, cos she had worked in tis sch for 3 decades.. and since she oredi reached the retiring age, she has to go.. i still rmb how our class "bullied" her, how she threatened us to keep quiet by switchin off the fans and how she called my name in a funny tone.. hahax! ok, shall stop here.. happy hoildays!! mus play and work hard okies... =) Wednesday, October 25, 2006 i got back my report book!! i was quite happy wif my overall results , although i still fail my maths and f&n.. bt its alright, at least i still got improve and was promoted to sec 4 express!! 10 cheers for me! =) and todae's mini bazaar in sch was quite ok.. gal guides sold bubble tea, ice pop etc.. bt we hv a number of "rivals" cos many other CCAs are oso sellin the same kind of bubble tea.. and after sch, went to j8 wif kylie and yy.. we went to the basement washroom and we saw something realli funny.. dere was an old man walkin in-front of us.. and he actualli walked into the female toilet.. he stood inside and looked around for awhile, and then walked out.. lolx.. and yup, tmr is the last day of sch.. yipee! Monday, October 23, 2006 ystd i went to bani's hse wif singyee and yijia to celebrate deepavali!! lolx.. we had a hard time findin her hse since we r not familiar wif the routes dere.. and yup, the ppl in her hse are veri friendly.. bt we r quite shy at 1st, cos its the first time we meet bani's friends and family.. and its realli quite rare to see me and singyee so polite and quiet.. hahax! bani then served us wif one whole plate of tibits, and we went to hv our lunch prepared by her mum.. the food was nice, jus tat its abit too spicy for us.. after tat, her sis helped us to make henna on our hands.. dere was a problem at 1st cos we jus could not squeeze out frm the tube.. bt after a few tries, finally it can be used le.. we choosed the designs tat we want frm a bk and her sis jus followed and helped us draw.. veri professional rite.. lolx.. we took quite alot of photos and of cos we had a fun time dere oso.. =)  looks nice rite..  frens forever!   the process of makin henna~  our hands wif those flowery patterns..  after washin off..*tada!* Friday, October 20, 2006 the personal grooming course was interestin compared to wat i hv thought.. i tink i learnt quite alot of useful things lyk how to respect ppl, how to show confidence to ppl and myself.. and of cos, is oso our class hu made the course more funny.. =) after the course, i went for my lunch wif grace, liangyu, ah ma, yijia and singyee at j8.. we settled our lunch at j8, and went to the arcade and play.. played for quite a few hrs, tats why nw my hands are achin.. lolx.. we oso went to ah mei dere drink milk tea, then go back j8 again to top up ez-link card for tmr's heritage race.. we then went home at around 6+ to watch goong.. =p Tuesday, October 17, 2006 todae went to the naked fish restaurant.. the place is quite cramp, and the food is lyk quite terrible.. 1st, we ate small buns wif butter, vegetable salad, cream soup, one pathetic prawn, a half-sized chicken and a chocolate swiss roll.. especially the chicken, the gravy looks so thick and gross.. and the chicken is lyk so big, wif all the skin around it, make alot of ppl cant eat finish.. i tink onli the butter buns and swiss roll is the nicest, bt they gif onli in a veri small piece.. -.-" the course was actualli quite interestin, cos nw i noe how to use the utensils and eat in the right way.. and i finally noe how to peel the prawn shell usin onli knife and fork.. yay, lolx.. bt i abit uncomfortable when eatin cos mus follow the way the instructor asked us to.. afterall, i still tink its the food tat spoils everyting.. *ting qian han is so crappy!! =p* Monday, October 16, 2006 todae first thing in the morning, received a bdae present shared by grace, ah ma, liangyu and qian han.. thanx loads! =) followed by goin back to marican class and wait for our results.. =x then after sch, went to collect guide cookies.. yummy! i love to eat them! after tat, i went back to mrs lim's rm to take back my mother tongue results.. =p and tmr, our class will be goin to the naked fish restaurant to learn dining etiquette.. i tink the sch is tryin to make us become more gentle and high-class.. lolx.. Saturday, October 14, 2006 yay, i am officially 15 todae.. lolx.. i am still as childish lyk a pri sch gal.. bt its ok, i am sure i am not the only one.. =p and yup, todae i went to celebrate my bdae wif the sun, moon and stars.. they bought me a bag and a tube of chocolates! thnx loads.. we actualli wanted to go to yio chu kang and bowl, bt its under renovation.. a wasted trip.. bt its ok, we went to marina square instead.. me and kylie remembered tat dere's a bowling centre dere, bt not veri sure about the way.. so yy and yijia could onli rely on us to find tat place.. lolx.. bt at least, me and kylie did not make a fool of ourselves cos we managed to find the place! we r supposed to show our ezlink cards to enjoy the student price.. and when tat gal saw yijia's ezlink, she giggled.. we knew tat she actualli wanted to laugh out, bt she forced herself to control.. lolx.. after bowling, we went to the arcade and play awhile.. then we oso went to the wallet shop.. i bought a wallet frm dere, shared by my mum and sis.. =) and for our lunch, we went to sakae sushi!! we went for their buffet.. can take any sushi we want, except those in the red plates.. since we're considered newbies, so the gal is nice enuff to explain to us.. at 1st when we knew tat dere will be a free udon for us, we were still veri happy.. bt in the end, the udon made us so full tat we didnt eat much of sushi.. bt we had fun orderin food thru tat computer.. hahax! after tat, we went to PS.. we went to the face shop and look at their products.. yy was busy choosing her face mask, while the rest of us were tryin on the nail polishes.. then we went to the accessories shop and look at the earrings sold dere.. on the way back home in the mrt, kylie said sumting so funny tat its realli unforgetable.. kylie pronounced "orang untan" as "orang gutan"!! hahax, even yy's little brother oso noe how to pronounce tat word.. bt afterall, i had a fun time wif them.. and as for now, its my family's turn to celebrate wif me.. lolx.. Wednesday, October 11, 2006 yipee!! exams are officially over!! which means its time to play and sleep.. lolx.. =) Tuesday, October 10, 2006 todae jus had my food and nutrition exam.. its quite hard, maybe lyk wat jacq said, i shld jus add in sum water to tat paper.. lolx.. and yup, i am at kylie's hse nw.. gt nothing to do, so she let me use her laptop, while she go and play CS.. can see tat the sound effects of CS is gd, is lyk all those "bang, bang, bang!" sounds all so loud and clear.. hahax! and i realli lyk the laptop's keypad.. so nice to click.. =p aniwae, tmr is the las day of exam.. yippee!! bt later at night still mus practise on sum poa mcq questions.. lalalala~ Saturday, October 07, 2006 hvent been online since the last 2 weeks.. and yup, i still hv 3 more days to go, before exams are over.. and after exams will be my big day!! yay, lolx.. =) and during the exam period, i hv been spending most of my time at kylie's hse wif yy to study.. bt of cos, dere will still be times when we will slack by playin pokemon monopoly and uno cards.. quite fun to play wif them, cos dere will always be jokes to laugh at.. maybe tats our way to relieve "stress"? haha! and todae, eliz oso came along, and we realli screamed until veri loud cos the horror movie we watched was quite scary at sum parts.. we even hv bobo chacha to eat, made by kylie's mum.. nice nice.. =p oh yah, before i forget, i want to wish all of u a happy mooncake festival! mus rmb to eat mooncakes and appreciate the moon.. hu noes, maybe the next moment, u will see yy waving at u on the sky.. lolx.. | |
