Friday, November 30, 2007 went to the singapore swimming club todae wif wing, jerlin, vanessa, jocelin, grace and ah ma.. we settled our lunch at the food court, and i ordered fish & chips wif ice lemon tea.. as the food are all in veri large portions, most of us did not manage to eat finish.. after eatin, we played at the arcade for awhile.. grace and jocelin went to swim, while the rest of us went to bowl, lolx.. while we were playin halfway, here comes a weird grp of friends hu came wif 2 jugs full of beer.. they started to 'show off' their skills, and laughed at each other loudly when the ball fell into the gutter.. the losing team would hv to drink one cup of beer as punishment.. so childish rite, tats why when they left the palce, we were lyk so happy cos all the distraction had come to an end.. for the games tat i played, i'm not in top form for the 1st two rounds, onli towards the last round, i started to play better, haha.. played at the playground after tat.. while i was sitting on the swing, dere was tis cute little gal hu was oso on the swing.. the gal was realli fascinated wif the way i swing, so her grandfather started to tell her to try to swing as high as me, lolx.. played games wif the gals on the see-saw.. we realli screamed and screamed lyk nobody's business, cos the game we played was realli exciting.. aniwae, i will be working at marina square's john little frm sunday onwards.. hope the staff dere are nice.. bt the good thing is tat, i can go to work wif kylie and yy cos our work places are all in city hall.. so if u guys are free, mus try to come and visit me okies.. hahax! *CLICK FOR LARGER VIEW*  yipee!!  is jocelin meditating? hahax!    taken while we're waiting for our turns to bowl~ Thursday, November 29, 2007 25th nov-27th nov: chalet at downtown east wif yy, kylie, jerlin, regina, geraldine, nisha, shimmie (veri long list rite..) On the first day, we bought all the stuff and food needed for the bbq frm cheers and started our veri own bbq party outside our chalet room.. shimmie, being the bbq queen, she managed to start the fire wif all the blowing and fanning.. and of cos, wif the help of the rest of us, the fire is finally ready for the food to be bbqed.. i am in charge of bbqing the frozen otahs.. i flipped the otah here and dere, make sure the otah is realli cooked, before i served.. based on regina, she said my otahs were nice!! after the bbq, i went to fetch jerlin at the entrance wif regina.. we purposely walked back to the chalet, so as to gif the rest more time to prepare the birthday surprise for jer.. we knocked on the door, and when they opened the door, the room was pitched dark.. and here comes the cake wif a candle! hope jerlin lyk the surprise and the present we gave her! we drank Breezer after tat.. felt super warm on our face and ears, so we kept adjustin the temperature of the air-con.. bt no matter how adjust, it's still so warm.. ZZzzz.. shimmie went off first, while we played cards and watched 'the peak', cam-whored and went to sleep.. =p *click for a larger view*   i realli laughed when i see the way geraldine used the pillow to cover her ears, lolx..  look at regina and geraldine! =p  jerlin act cute! oops, hope she dun see tis part.. =D  pillow fight! On the second day, the rest of them went to eat breakfast at mac, while me, jerlin, regina and nisha stayed behind to watch 'she's the man' and eat cup noodles.. i tried to put the cup noodles wif the hot water on the table, bt accidentally spilled the soup on my hands.. its realli painful, wif the 100 degrees celsius water frm the water dispenser spilled onto my hands.. tats why i told the rest of them dun ask me to fill up any flasks wif hot water, since i'm rather clumpsy, hahax.. deedee came, and we wanted to go wild wild wet at 11.30am.. bt shimmie still hvent come, so we waited for her all the way until 12.15pm.. unfortunately, it rained heavily while we were about to enter wild wild wet.. we had no choice, bt to wait for the rain to stop.. so when the shower stops, all of us rushed inside and played in all the rides.. fun fun fun! we settled our dinner at the foodcourt and went to the arcade to play.. played mari kart wif mooneh and sunneh, and i gt second! me and kylie team up, and play against yy and geraldine in the bball machine.. we won, hahax.. went back to the chalet rm, and watched 'hero', followed by 'wat a girl wants'.. although the movie was nice, i still fell asleep in between cos i'm realli veri tired after the trip to w.w.w.. bt i woke up again, joined the rest in the changing of pyjamas, before we headed to our sleep.. oh, i forgot to mention tat the blanket tat the chalet provide is realli pathetic.. the blanket is designed wif all the little holes on it, so it does not help in givin us any warmth at all.. bt tis time, i had a nicer sleep compared to the previous day, even though jer kept pushin me to the edge of the bed, lolx..  jer used my hp take to take her reflection, while waitin for our turns to bathe.. -.-    mooneh was caught red handed for takin so much chips, haha.. bt i cant deny tat the chips tat jer brought was realli yummy! geraldine looked kiddy hor, lolx..    On the last day of the chalet, we packed up our stuff and went to macdonalds together for our breakfast.. took the mrt back home wif jerlin after tat.. all in all, i enjoyed myself dere.. hope to hv another chalet again! =) Wednesday, November 21, 2007 wohoos~ my graduation nite at goodwood park hotel was realli great! a veri memorable one, one that i'll nv forget how we spent so much time shopping for all the clothes and accessories, how we spent time in the saloon styling our hair and doin makeup, and most importantly, how we cam-whore inside the ballroom.. =) i shall not type much about what we do tat day, cos i'm goin to let the photos do the job.. all i can say is tat i realli enjoyed myself and i'll definitely miss my sec sch life when i looked at those photos again next time..  on our way to goodwood park hotel..    the 4joy gals~   kiki shen and me!  ah giao and me!  me and my laughing partner..  me and my pineapple sis..       me, yy and kylie :)  mr lee is realli funny.. he's tryin veri hard to make his tummy smaller by breathing in, lolx..  me and mrs lim..  with ms chng..    after graduation nite, we went back home to change first, before we set off to cineleisure's kbox!! the atmosphere was super high, as we sang the first few songs.. i sang until i gonna lost my voice, lolx.. although we were quite tired at the end of the singing session, i still love the feeling of us singin along together and stayed overnite till 6 in the morning.. =)    Friday, November 16, 2007 oh, i forgot to tell u guys tat my o's is realli realli realli over!! wheee, nw i can do the things tat i lyk and enjoy the freedom.. bt whenever i go shopping wif my friends, i keep hving the feeling tat i shld go hme and study, not goin out and slack.. hahax, i tink tats wat i called post-exam blues.. 14th nov: i went to temasek poly for the attachment programme wif ah ma, grace and qh.. their campus is realli veri big and nice and they brought us to visit the sch of engineering after all the ice-breaker games.. inside the sch, we were taught on how to light up the bulb on the circuit board, and make it blink jus lyk a x'mas lighting.. at first, everything was goin well for me.. then after quite sum time, i started to slow down and could not catch up wif wat the lecturer said.. so being an computer idiot, i hv to ask qh they all for help, hahax.. in the afternoon, we had our lunch at the mushroom and watched the performance they prepared for us.. to mark the end of the performance, a singer frm korean, lee ann, came to sing for us.. the atmosphere was realli great, and everybody were busy clapping and shouting.. after tat, we were brought to the sch of business and attended a talk on the diff types of courses they hv in their lecture room.. they lead us around the campus to see the facilities tat they hv.. i'm more impressed by the facilities tat the Media and Communication course hv.. They hv those cameras and equipments tat mediacorp and radio stations used, and frm the way the students speaked to us, we can see tat they are veri friendly.. later, we followed our pack leaders to their sports hall, and we were taught on how to dance their veri own mass dance and chicky dance.. ah ma was my dance partner, and we realli had lots of fun dancing wif the rest of the ppl.. 15 nov: in the convention hall, we had a talk on wat to expect on the day our results are released.. based on the speaker, we were told tat we'll be gettin our results at the end of jan.. =x and on the results slip, there were be a row of all our L1B4s.. if we intend to go to a business sch, we hv to look at the L1B4 for tat sch.. dere will oso be a column on the courses tat we can apply for wif our score.. after tat, we had our adventure learning wif the 'ELF', followed by the learning of hip hop dance in the sports hall.. the dance steps were rather cool, and although we cant catch up at the last few parts, we had fun learning and dancing.. dere was oso a competition among the selected guys and gals to do hip hop dance.. as guys are normally better than gals wif all these hip hop stuff, their moves were realli 'WOW', lolx.. we had our dragon boating at Bedok Reservior, followed by the mass dance agin at the sports hall.. tis time, everybody was much more familiar wif the dance steps, and had lots of fun and laughter.. so overall, i tink i did not regret coming to tis attachment programme at tp, as frm all the activities tat they planned for us, it makes me feel lyk goin to tp more, lolx.. i realli enjoyed myself dere, and all i can say is tat they are realli united.. =) Friday, November 09, 2007 8th nov: i celebrated deepavali at bani's hse wif singyee and yijia.. bani served us wif all the indian tidbits, and i tink they taste realli nice, especially the biscuit wif peanut inside and icing sugar on the crust.. although the curry chicken and the sambal prawns tat bani's mum cooked were quite spicy, i tink they r still veri yummy! after lunch, we played scrabble together, chit-chatted and started to cam-whore together, hahax.. aniwae, thnx bani for inviting us to ur hse again, jus lyk last yr.. i still remembered how ur sis helped us wif the 'henna' on our hands.. =) 9th nov: i went to vivo city wif qh, grace, ah ma, wing, joce and vanessa.. we walked around the place, tryin veri hard to look for the clothes tat are suitable for grad nite.. and randomly, we walked into a shop, and we saw them them selling the dresses at a veri affordable prices.. me, ah ma, grace and van were busy tryin the dresses, while joce and wing went to hv their lunch.. and finally, me and grace managed to find the dresses tat we wanted and we bought them! yay, nw i can concentrate in buyin my clutch and accessories to match my tube dress, hahax! and since the rest of them didnt manage to find the ones they lyk frm vivo, qh went home first, while the rest of us went to tis fashion and see see.. unfortunately, none of them bought anyting frm dere, so we jus walked around ps and headed home after tat.. took quite a few pictures todae, so u may wan to scroll down n click on them for a larger view, lolx..      Wednesday, November 07, 2007 hahax, todae went out wif grace, ah ma, jocelin, wing and vanessa.. we walked around taka and far east to shop for grad nite clothes.. we were lyk walkin aimlessly around the shops, bt at least me, grace and ah ma managed to buy a necklace each, lolx.. and since there was nothing appealing to us in orchard, we decided to go marina square.. it was much fruitful tis time, cos we went into almost every shop to look at those gowns tat they sell.. i spotted a dress tat i liked frm mango, bt after tryin it on, i tink its abit too long for me.. wing oso tried a gown frm dere, and i tink it looks super 'hot' on her, cos she gt the assets lyk wat ah ma said, wahahax.. oh and not forgettin, the top tat we persuaded jocelin to try on, looks super cute on her, lolx.. we continued walkin around the shops, bt none of us managed to buy anything, so we decided to rest a while and go HANS for a slice of cake.. after tat, we proceeded to suntec city.. we went into a shoe shop, and while the rest were lookin at shoes, me, wing and ah ma went to try on the sungalsses.. i didnt noe tryin on sunglasses can be so fun, hahax.. vanessa went home after tat, while the rest of us went to marina bay for steamboat!!! we wanted to take a bus to the steamboat area.. bt after waiting for so long and wif so many ppl crowdin around the bus stop, we decided to walk to tat place.. its realli nice walkin in the dark wif them, and we talked about quite alot of things which realli made me think of the past, hahax.. and after walkin till our legs were super tired, we finally reached the place.. we laughed and laughed all night, and even though the hot oil keep splattering onto us, we still enjoyed cookin the food.. the prawns tat they gave us were super scary, cos they're all alive, which means they can still jump.. we were screamin lyk mad while we tried to open up the box of praws.. luckily, gt 1 auntie saw the pathetic scene of us screamin, so she came to help us make the prawns die by pouring hot soup into the box.. i nearly choked on my drink when ah ma say she's the princess.. wahahax, i tink u all shld be laughin at it oso rite.. the 'dong fen' part was funny oso, cos i made a fool of myself by sayin it is burnt, when its jus the straw mushroom tat is hangin on the dong fen, which makes it brown in colour, haha.. grace oso no better, she say if the dong fen is cooked, it will turned frm white to transparent.. bt the fact is tat dong fen is always transparent in colour, hahax! and when i mentioned tat the 'balls balls' are oredi floatin on the soup, everybody was lyk laughin non-stop, even though i dun find it funny at all, lolx.. and lyk wat wing said, she thinks tat hvin steamboat is a good way to bond.. i agree to wat she said, cos it realli made us closer together and since its my 1st time eatin steamboat wif my friends at nite, i find it veri memorable for me.. =D *do click on the pics for a larger view..*  we took tis pic while waiting for van to try on her dress frm 'bebe'.. =p  presenting to u, the dao queen- lin ah ma! hahax..  on our way back to bishan after steamboat.. =) Tuesday, November 06, 2007 yipee, one last paper on the 13th, and the o's will be over.. so for nw, i can still enjoy for awhile, hahaha.. erh, the phy paper todae was a little more difficult than chem paper 1.. after checkin ans wif my friends, i realised i made a few careless mistakes, argh.. bt luckily, the lit paper was manageable, so i realli hope i can score.. is lyk during the last half an hr, i rushed thru the whole section B, till my hands ache until so badly.. tats the consequences of poor time management, hahax.. bt its ok, at least i managed to finish the whole paper on the dot.. a great achievement oredi.. =) and to qi meng: i seriously wonder why the sch let u be the representative for the olvl exams.. ur job was to guide and help us jus in case anything happened to us in between the exam.. bt frm wat i see, u're always the one hu add fuel to the fire, when the C.P.E didnt even talk much.. and i tink u realli nid to think before u scold us, cos it is not our fault tis time!! =x Monday, November 05, 2007 happy birthday to chia sing yee!! ss is over, whee.. the paper was manageable, and lyk wat grace say, our effort paid off for ss, since the chapters tat we memorised so hard came out for structured.. unlike poa, work so hard, gt wat in return? hais.. bt nvm lah, at most work as hard as a rock for the rest of the papers lo.. =p tmr is sci paper 1 and lit paper.. all the best! Thursday, November 01, 2007 had my poa and f&n paper todae.. hais, i tink i realli screwed up my poa paper.. is lyk i realli studied real hard ystd nite, even to the extent of studyin until 2am.. i did my 2003-2005 olvl papers, mastered all the skills needed to tackle the qs, bt things jus didint go right for me during the exam.. the things tat i learnt didnt come out, jus a few tiny parts.. i was hoping for at least a B at first, bt nw, i tink is impossible.. i tink a C5 would be gd enough.. looks lyk i hv to gt at least a 23/30 in paper 1, in order to gt a gd pass in poa.. wish me gd luck okies! compared to f&n, i tink i can score better in tat.. at least some things tat i learnt came out, n then dere's still my coursework to pull my grades up, hahax.. if talkin face to face helps, so be it.. cos certain things mus be settled once and for all, in order for things to go on smoothly.. i realli hope dere wont be anymore misunderstandings after tat, cos we're graduatin soon and i tink all of us do not like to be misunderstood.. =) | |
