Tuesday, September 30, 2008 tis is my 300th post! hahahaha, i am so random.. aniwae, todae is supposed to be my working day.. bt at the last min, we were told tat our project is being postponed to thurs, cos our trainer needs to attend an urgent bank meeting.. since me and lucas were oredi outside, we decided to go shopping, lolx.. after we had our lunch, we trained to redhill and took a bus to queensway shopping centre.. we walked arnd dere, tryin to look for his sneakers.. the gd ting is tat he realli managed to buy a pair at a veri gd price.. maybe next time i shld oso consider buyin frm dere.. =p bought macflurry and walked over to anchorpoint and ikea.. lucas brought me to try their hotdog bread.. its yummy, esp wif the mustard sauce and ketchup.. i am a frog in the well, cos its actualli my 1st time eatin tat, lolx.. and tis time i realli shopped arnd ikea, looking at their showrooms and the interesting furnitures they sell.. had porridge for dinner at the veri famous stall in chinatown.. had a difficult time eating, cos the porridge is realli hotttt and dunno why deres bones on a few slices of fish.. bt its okay, i still lyk my fish porridge.. (: tmr is hari raya and children's day.. hope everybody will have a gd holiday, especially those hu r young at heart.. *winks eye*  too engrossed wif his hp's car game.. LOL  Monday, September 29, 2008 shopping wif grace, vanessa and ah ma! van managed to get the dress she wanted, while the rest of us finally bought our 3-way bag after walkin around so many places, lolx.. city plaza -> bugis -> city hall -> j8 ate donuts frm j.co afte tat.. onli me and ah ma noe how to appreciate, hahax.. i bought the pizza flavour one, while she bought the garlic cheese one.. nice nice.. eatin donuts can realli make me feel happy.. ^.^    Sunday, September 28, 2008 F1 grand prix was greatttt! reached the street circuit at arnd 2 plus and shopped arnd the circuit park.. we went to tis particular place where all the antique cars were displayed and took many pics dere.. the interesting part is tat the drivers for the F1 race will be sitting on those cars during the track parade.. ate at popeye's chicken for our teabreak.. i finally gt to eat my fav mashed potato and biscuit again, lolx.. after eating, we tried to find a nice spot for us to stand.. and tada! we managed to find one tat we can see the cars veri clearly.. tats the part when the cars hv to slow down and prepare to turn.. the finals started at arnd 8pm.. it was realli exciting, especially wif all the sound effects frm the racing cars.. at 1st, i didnt expect the sound could be so loud.. tats why i decided to be stubborn and told lucas tat i dun wan to wear earplugs.. lucas: "u sure u dun wan to wear? its realli loud you noe.." me: "yah, i dun lyk to wear earplugs.. i jus nid to cover my ears later on.." lucas: "ok then.." *giving me the doubtful look* in the end, it was so loud until i still had to be guai and put on my earplugs.. =p lucas was busy taking videos frm his hp, while i jus stand aside lookin at the cars.. my hp's battery died on me b4 the race started.. tats why, i had rely on him to help me take photos and videos, haha.. in between, we walked arnd the street circuit, hoping to find other gd spots to view.. we were quite lucky todae, the 3 spots tat we found were quite gd.. the results for our most anticipated night race in sg.. 1st: Fernando Alonso (Renault) 2nd: Nico Rosberg (Williams-Toyota) 3rd: Lewis Hamilton (McLaren-Mercedes) too bad massa didnt win due to some accidents.. he was one of those whom most of us expected him to win.. =x and not to forget, even though the place is super huge, i still managed to spot grace doin her ushering.. 3 times somemore! lolx, how fated can we gt.. i will upload the picas next time.. (: Saturday, September 27, 2008 todae is a bad day.. its jus a simple problem, bt the unreasonable A&W jus push all the blame to me and make it so complicated! looks lyk onli lucas n qh will gt wat i mean.. =( okies, enough of all the irritatin stuff.. at least deres sumting to cheer me up nw.. i am goin to watch the F1 race tmrrrr! thnx to lucas's auntie hu gave us the general walkabout tickets.. =) Friday, September 26, 2008 1st day of work todae.. i met up wif lucas 1st to photocopy our script, followed by looking at qh play rock fever.. she managed to hit the high score or sumting, tats why her picture was taken.. the funny ting is tat i am oso inside the pic, even though i didnt contribute at all.. hahaha went to work after tat.. for our project todae, we r supposed to call the residents hu live in tis expensive condo called The Sail, and asked them if they are interested in selling or renting out their apartments.. surprisingly, dere are quite a few hu sound pretty interested and we will ask them for their hp numbers.. dere was once i even gt scolded by one of them, cos i tink i misunderstood what she said and told her the wrong stuff, hais.. bt still, we had fun laughin at each other's phone calls, and had a hard time tryin to pronounce their super chim names, lolx.. aniwae, todae is the 1st day of the F1 race.. i watched abit of it frm channel5 jus nw and i tink its realli cool.. its lyk fake toy cars moving on a track, hahax.. with all the lightings and fences, the surroundings dun even looked lyk s'pore.. saw tis personality test frm kenny's blog.. at 1st i was still doubtin its accuracy, bt it turned out to be quite true, especially the 1st few parts.. =o http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx Your view on yourself: You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. Thursday, September 25, 2008 shopping wif vanessa todae.. our 1st stop was to expo, cos deres robinson's warehouse sale goin on dere.. i bought a black jumper (grace said i finally bought it, lol!) and 2 nail polish.. next, we went to city plaza.. shopped at almost every levels and we spotted some very nice stuff.. i am eyeing 2 bags frm dere, wahahaha! had lunch at kfc and we went to shop arnd at the s'pore post centre.. tried on a few clothes at tis fashion and shop arnd at barang barang.. the showroom tat they created wif all the furniture is realli niceee, look so dreamy and comfortable.. met lucas for dinner at newton curcus after tat.. ordered fried hokkien mee, black carrot cake, strawberry dessert and sugarcane juice, lolx.. yay, i am finally working frm tmr onwards.. no more slackin and rotting at home! i shall work hard and buy all the things tat i wan b4 sch reopens.. lalalalala~ Wednesday, September 24, 2008 i finally obtained all the bbq pictures! thnx yijia, vanessa and kenny~     the sparks nearly landed on liangyu and amos! =z     our 'delegator' is finally at work! Tuesday, September 23, 2008 went sentosa wif lucas and his 3 frens- daphne, nick and gabriel todae.. enjoyed myself dere, jus tat my face and shoulders are super painful nw after the sun-burnt.. =x i played soccer wif the rest for awhile, bt stopped after tat cos the sand was realli hot.. i tink all of them played quite well, cos they realli hv gt the strength to kick.. unlike me, even though i tried to use more strength, the ball jus moved a tiny bit, lolx.. after tat, we went into the cooling waters and had our playtime, lolx.. lunched at koufu and we went to the bridge tat can link us to the southernmost point of continental asia.. took quite a few pictures, and we took a bus to the 4D-magix! i always wanted to try tat ride, tats why i am super excited about it.. we queued quite long for tat ride, and finally its our turn! we wore the special specs and sat on those individually-controlled seats.. at 1st, we tot dere might be water spraying on us or someting.. in the end dere was nothing.. the effects were not too bad, tats why i was busy shouting during the ride, hahaha so malu! and lastly, we went for our luge and sky-ride! the luge was quite fun, jus tat i nid time to get use to the steering and braking system.. i was rather slow while playin, so lucas and gabriel had to wait for me, oops.. the staff stationed dere were quite friendly, cos dere was one hu even ask me if i am okay.. maybe cos i looked scared at the start, tats why they had to ask me, haha.. the sky-ride was not too bad oso.. in between the ride, we saw some nice lightings frm the musical fountain.. maybe next time i shld sit in the afternoon, since my hp cant capture night shots veri well.. =)     see the difference after getting sun-burnt? Saturday, September 20, 2008 4joy bbq ystd.. it was not too bad for the chatting, cam-whoring and UNO- ing part, bt i tink it could be better if some negative factors were eliminated.. its okay, jus take it as a gathering before semester 2 starts.. picas will be uploaded next time.. (: todae is a SUPER tiring day, cos i had my training wif the lucas, qh, ah ma n grace.. at 1st, we tot the job tat they ask us to do is to lyk work in roadshows and sell products to help those low-income families, exconvicts etc.. bt in the end, it turned out to be lyk we hv to walk around the place askin ppl to help.. wif every 10 bucks u gif, u will be given a rubics cube.. i knew right frm the start tat it would not be easy to sell, cos most ppl are not willing to jus stop and listen to watever u hv to say.. maybe cos i hv worked sumting liddat b4, so i was not tat scared while approachin the strangers.. and wif a tiny bit of luck after walking so many rounds in toa payoh, i managed to sell 1 cube and obtain 14 bucks in total.. however, even though we didnt reach our target, i had fun laughin wif the rest about how the strangers entertained us and the abdullah ting (inside joke), hahahaha.. had dinner wif lucas after tat, and home sweet home! Thursday, September 18, 2008 had lunch at ljs wif grace, ah ma and vanessa.. we went to explore around ntuc while waiting for qh to come.. our BBQ shopping spree was a fruitful one, cos we realli bought lots of stuff.. sotongs, stingray, prawns, hot dogs, sausages and so on.. we went back home to put down our stuff, and went to qh's hse to play cards, lolx.. after tat, all of us went to meet up wif lucas and felicia for our job interview at park lane.. filled up the application form and went into the room for an interview in groups of 3.. so while waiting for grace, ah ma and qh, we were lyk crapping all the way and listening to wat the 2 telemarketers were sayin.. 1 of them was quite lucky, cos most of the ppl tat he called gave him their emails.. the other one wasnt tat fortunate, cos its either ppl dun pick up his calls or refuse to give him their emails.. =p the interview was quite relaxed.. the coincidental ting is tat the person hu interviewed us was from the same course as us last time.. we were told of a few part-time projects tat we can do, and we might be goin for our training tis sat.. the rest of them went home after tat, while me and lucas went for our dinner.. as we were quite hungry at tat moment, we decided to buy sum light snacks frm PS.. we bought 2 boxes of tako patchi, one bacon and one chilli tuna.. its the 1st time we tried the flavour, and i tink its nice! walked over to wisma and we ate at food republic.. okies, tats all for todae.. i cant wait for tmr's 4joy bbq! Wednesday, September 17, 2008 took a bus wif vanessa and abigail to chinatown todae.. the bus journey was super long, and i jus found out tat abigail is prone to getting car-sick oso! hahax, at least i noe i gt a companion.. walked around the 'night-market' and ate at the nearby hawker centre.. am startin to miss secondary sch's and nyp's food.. the banmian tat me and van ordered was not nice at all.. luckily, deres still the sugarcane juice to save the day! grace came to meet us after tat.. shopped and ate desserts together.. abi left first, while the rest of us went to novena.. dere was sales goin on at cotton on, so i bought a tank top and a pair of shorts frm dere.. Monday, September 15, 2008 tada! my new blogskin! nw i dunnid to be in the tutorial's room to see aeroplanes flying past.. .. =p Saturday, September 13, 2008 happy mooncake festival! went to hougang and find lucas.. as usual, we will go for our lunch first b4 we shopped arnd the place.. the fish & chips is yummy, bt i tink deres still room for improvement for their garlic bread, hahax.. wanted to play pool, bt its not open for business, dunno why.. =x bus-ed to kovan, and shopped at heartland mall.. i am quite familiar wif tat place, cos my family always bring me dere.. at arnd 5 plus, lucas had to go for his cousin's bbq, while i went back home.. at nite, i celebrated mooncake festival in advance wif kylie and shann.. i met up wif kylie first, and walked all the way to the canal behind our secondary sch to play.. while waiting for shann, we started lighting up the candles wif the lighter tat i brought.. and since kylie is afraid of using fire-related stuff, i hv to start the ball rollin by using the lighter 1st.. and nw, my thumb and index finger is so painful! bt is okay la, i dun realli mind, cos lyk wat i told kylie, one yr once onli, so we shld play all we can.. LOL shann came after tat.. saw 4 golden retrievers.. the moment they saw us wif the candles, they started to bark non-stop and approach us, lolx.. when we were about to light up our mini lantern, we realized tat dere were no sticks provided for it.. thanks to shann's genius idea, she picked up the branches on the floor and used them for our lanterns.. we were quite embarassed while walking back home, cos dere were passer-bys looking at us.. =p  the smiley face done by me and kylie.. =)  our masterpiece~  shann's heart shape.. Thursday, September 11, 2008 went to chinatown wif my parents to see the mooncake festival lightings! nothing much actually, bt can feel the atmosphere wif all the lanterns and pomelos around, lolx.. took a few pictures, and i saw a veri cute octopus lantern jus nw! bt too bad, its too kiddy for me to carry.. =p b4 i met my parents, i was out wif lucas.. we had our lunch at PS, then walked down to heeren and drank chocolate cream chip frm starbucks! shopped at far east, and went back to taka to eat the ommelete noodles.. yummy! gym wif jerlin tmr.. treadmill time!! Tuesday, September 09, 2008 played badminton wif qh, grace and ah ma.. we had our lunch at the coffee shop, and went to the bbt shop.. i drank chocolate ice blend wif chocolate pudding! next, we went to the arcade to play bishi bashi and daytona.. when i was competing wif qh in the daytona game, deres a problem wif the machine and qh's car couldnt move!! we kept laughing and laughin, and qh had gt no choice bt to watch us play and help me control my turbo speed.. we wanted to continue our badminton game, bt in the end we ended up at qh's hse.. played dai dee, followed by monopoly.. qh kept getting into the jail, and she has to pay 50 monopoly money to get out.. grace and ah ma were happily collectin rent frm us, and qh kept snatchin frm me my 'chances' card, lolx.. Monday, September 08, 2008 outing wif my nyp clique todae! lunched at popeye's chicken and i ordered the fish combo set.. its nice, especially the mashed potato, lolx.. bowling after tat.. its super fun, and i tink everybody played quite well.. i can feel the 'revengeful' atmosphere btwn lucas and rach, hahax.. bt of cos its not those kind of real fighting, bt their unique way of motivating each other to play properly.. my 1st game was horrible, cos i onli gt a 26 for my total score.. luckily, i made some improvement in the 2nd game, and i gt a 60, hahax.. the best part is when deres a triple strike by me, lucas and felicia consecutively, and a split spare wif lucas.. =p kylie left first, while the rest of us went over to suntec city.. we went to toys r us, followed by the arcade.. played the throwing game, bt deres sumting wrong wif the sensor, so we had a hard time playin.. mario kart after tat! i lost miserably and onli a pathetic 4th.. bt its okay, i still had fun playin, lolx.. and lastly, we played 2 games of basketball! me and lucas paired up, while rach n ferr formed another pair.. in the 1st game, we scored 138, and the 2nd game, we gt 296.. its the 1st time i managed to play until the 3rd stage, hahax.. rach n ferr oso not bad, cos they went into the 2nd stage.. jus when we were walkin out of the arcade, we saw a sports carnival.. dere were 4 stations, so we decided to give it a try.. 1st station: golf on a super curvy lane, wif sand in the middle part.. we have 4 tries to hit the ball into the hole.. onli lucas managed to hit the ball into the hole, so he can proceed on to the 2nd station.. 2nd station: table tennis.. hes supposed to hit the ball above the white line for at least 15 secs.. at first he didnt mananged to hit until tat time.. so the person gave him a few more chances, and he finally did it, lolx.. 3rd station: throwing the dice.. the number on the dice will determine how many tries u have to play in the 4th station.. 4th station: pool.. deres several holes on the table, and each hole has a different colour.. the red colour hole is the one wif the best prize, and oso the toughest cos its veri shallow.. lucas tried to hit into tat hole, bt the ball sumhow jus bounced up.. so in the end, he hit into a yellow colour hole and gt a food voucher.. after such an active playtime, we went for dinner at pastamania, before we headed back home.. i had a great time todae! hope dere will be more of such outings.. tis time sand mus try to come okies, lolx..  hahax, warming-up round.. all my 999s, the police hotline.. T_T  the 3 strikes and my split spare, hahaha!
Saturday, September 06, 2008 went ECP wif lucas todae.. the sea breeze is super cooling and i like it! strolled around the place, and rented a bike at the shop near bedok jetty.. its been a long long long time since i cycled.. i tink the last time i cycled was during kylie's bdae, lolx.. and due to the super hot sun, i got sunburnt! bt its okay, i dun mind getting tanned.. played pool after tat.. tat place was quite ulu though.. lucas tried to teach me sum techniques to play, lolx.. had dinner at lavender food sq before we headed back home.. =p Thursday, September 04, 2008 had lunch underneath my blk and ate the laksa tat lucas cooked for me.. hmm, i shall grade his skills at 8.5/10.. =p headed to vivo for shopping and movie (cyborg she), followed by dinner at newton circus.. ordered lots of food, till i surrendered halfway, lolx.. since it was still early, we went back j8 for arcade and dessert! mocha coffee wif hersheys chocolate chip is niceeee... aniwaes, i had a great day todae.. thnx for all the surprises tat u have given me! hope you will like the cookies tat i made for u.. Wednesday, September 03, 2008 gymed wif ah ma and jerlin ystd, followed by goin to amk for lunch and shoppin.. grace came to join us after her briefing at TP, and we went to play pool! met up wif bani, yijia and singyee after tat for dinner.. its been a long time since i met up wif the always MIA bani, lolx.. i ordered seafood horfun, with rootbeer float.. nw i tink tat vanilla ice-cream is oso as nice as chocolate ice-cream.. (: yijia left 1st, while the rest of us went to the arcade.. played mario kart, bishi bashi and throwing game.. since it was still early, we sat under blk and chit-chatted about alot of random stuff, hahax.. and bani suggested tat we shall meet up again after sch.. >.<       | |
