Thursday, January 31, 2008 jus woke up frm my long nap, frm 3 to 8pm, lolx.. reason being i'm seriously too tired after the overnite stay at jacq's bdae chalet.. at the chalet, we had our share of bbq food.. i loved the otah and the curry potatos wif beehoon the most.. we prepared a surprise for jacq, and sang a bdae song to her.. we even tried to saboo jacq to use her mouth to pick up the candles tat she blew, lolx.. with the dressing theme as 'superman', i tink the grp pictures shld look rather interestin wif all the blues, reds and yellows.. aniwae, hope jacq will lyk the present we got for her! after the bdae celebration, we went to the beach to enjoy the sea breeze.. the nice thing is tat when we looked up onto the sky, we can see alot of stars scattered around.. super pretty.. using the torchlight tat jacq brought, we spotted things lyk sotongs and fishes on the seashore.. as dere r quite alot of ppl in the room playin mahjong after tat, me, wing, grace and kenny decided to sit outside the chalet rm and chit chat instead.. bt for me, the chit chattin time between my frens oso became the feedin time for mosquitos.. all the bites on my hands and feet are still veri itchy even until nw, lolx.. we chatted till 4am plus, and decided to go to the sofas at the reception counter to 'power nap', hahax.. bt we onli managed to sleep for awhile, cos the person came to chase us away and ask us to go back to our rooms.. we gt no choice bt to go mac and hv our breakfast at 6am, lolx.. jacq and shina oso tagged along, cos they couldnt gt to sleep wif all the noise during the mahjong game.. i ordered hotcakes meal wif sausage, and hot milo.. it was yummy, bt the portion is abit too big for me.. we started to chat on rather horny topics, and started to laugh lyk mad.. =p when we went back to the room, they were still happily playin their card games.. all i can say is tat, they are realli energetic, even though they did not sleep at all.. we finally waited till they decided to go for their breakfast, and we finally gt a chance to lie on the comfortable bed! left at around 9am and headed to wing's hse at kembangan wif grace, hs and kenny.. her hse was pretty, and i lyk the atmosphere of her rm.. the place is so cosy tat all of us can sleep anytime, lolx.. we played several soccer table games against her cute little cousin, and we managed to gt a draw.. after tat, we spent our time playin mahjong after tat.. the funny thing is tat dere was once i tot i won the game, and i still showed my tiles to them.. they laughed and laughed when they saw my tiles and it was then i found out i made a silly mistake, hahax.. bt in the end, i still won tat game, wif abit of 'taiko-ness'.. =D wing actualli wanted to go to tat 'giodarno concept' shop at wisma to buy her clothes, bt as me and grace were too tired to shop, we decided to go back home n sleep instead.. so sorry wing, lolx.. Sunday, January 27, 2008 since todae is a sunday, i decided to blog about my veri interesting week, lolx.. 23rd jan: met up wif jer, wing, grace, van and kenny for an ice-cream session at anderson's ice-cream! the chocolate fondue is realli yummy and i tink its realli worth the money to hv a try, lolx.. visited qh for awhile, and we headed to the fountain of wealth to cam-whore! as they r hving sum water performances, we gt to view and take pics in a veri nice atmosphere.. while we were goin back home, we started to think about wat will happen the next day, since its the day when we hv to take our olvl results.. bt we told ourselves tat we shld not worry about it first, jus leave everyting till tmr.. .. ..      24th jan: the day has finally arrived.. woke up early in the morning, and saw the sms tat my sis send to me.. perhaps i'm too touched by wat she wrote, i cried after seeing the whole msg.. bt after seeing her msg, i felt much better and was not tat nervous.. met up wif the clique for lunch at kfc in the afternoon.. all of us didnt hv much appettite to eat, since we were all veri worried about our results.. while mr chong passed to me my result slip and form A, i was realli realli scared.. bt when i knew tat i passed my maths, i was overjoyed cos my effort paid off!! and of cos, when mr ang approached me, i kept thankin him cos he's the teacher tat realli motivated the whole class to work hard for maths and did not gave up on us.. without all his remedials tat he offered to us during the study break, i would not hv gotten a b4 for maths within such a short time frm an f9 last time.. so realli, a big thank u to mr ang!! =) and for my L1B4, after deductin my cca bonus, i gt 16! although it didnt reach my dream 15, i am still contented wif my results, cos i managed to pass all my subjects.. so i shall take tis chance to thank all my teachers and friends hu helped me thru the crucial olvl period and made my sec sch life a memorable one! i love u guys! and not to forget, i oso wan to thank my family hu realli encouraged me to work hard and run for the last lap.. *muacks muacks* and for those hu did not gt the results tat they wanted, try not to be too upset for too long.. we had oredi did our veri best for the o's.. 25th jan: took half day off frm work and went back to sch to look for mr chong wif grace, kenny and youhuai.. after gettin sum advice frm him, we stayed behind to eat.. i miss canteen's food! ordered curry noodles, and the stall's uncle and auntie are still as funny as last time, lolx.. went to the carbana after tat to discuss about the courses tat we wan to apply while waiting for grace to end guides.. we settled our dinner at newton circus, together wif wing and jerlin.. we ordered satay, oyster ommelete, chilli sotong, lala and stingray!! yummy.. oh, and i lyk the feelin when we all sat together and chit-chat while enjoyin a nice meal, so ppl, we mus meet up and hv dinner more often okies, lolx.. 26th jan: did not go out todae, cos i nid to wait for my new plasma tv and dvd home theatre system to be delivered to my hse.. the new tv was pretty, and i lyk the graphics and sound effects, lolx.. bt nw, i'm kind of missing my old tv, since it had been wif us for quite a long time.. and todae, i spend quite a long time browsing thru the brochures and thinkin of wat to courses to choose for my 12 choices.. and nw, after sendin in my jae form, i feel so relaxed, hahax.. hope all of us can gt in to the course tat we realli wan.. *cross fingers* Tuesday, January 22, 2008 17th jan: went to np's openhse wif ah ma, van, grace, hweishyan, kenny, wing n jocelin.. was rather fascinated after knowing more about the courses they offer.. after the openhse, we went to amk hub to watch 'the missed call'.. super exciting at sum parts, and i'm quite ashamed to say tat i actualli scream a few times during the movie, lolx.. bt cant blame me okies, i was happily eatin the popcorn, when the head suddenly pop up, argh.. wanted to carry on the horror movie marathon at j8, bt did not hv the timing tat we wan.. so we went to kim san leng for dinner n cabbed down to hweishyan's hse to stayover.. the stayover was fun, especially the part when we played all the card games, n ordered mac delivery at a shockin time of 2am, hahax.. even though i slept at 4am, i still hv to wake up at 7.30am to prepare myself for work.. =x 19th jan: met up wif yijia and singyee at far east.. it's been quite sum time since we 3 met up n headed to town.. the trip to far east wasnt realli a fruitful one for us, so we decided to shop at bugis instead.. as usual, we took neos and headed to bugis village.. yijia did not joined us, so onli left me n sy.. sy bought several things frm dere, while i jus got myself a veri nice top, lolx.. jer came to join us when we went back to bishan for dinner.. hahax, had a nice 'makin fun of each other session', lolx..   21st jan: headed to bugis village again wif vanessa and kenny.. and since we're oredi at bugis junction, obviously mus take neos rite, lolx.. had fun takin and decoratin all the pictures.. shopped at bugis village after tat.. kenny bought a vest, while van gt her black suspenders.. oh, and since we were told tat we'll officially be takin our olvl results tis thurs, we were busy tokin about it and was rather nervous about it..i realli realli realli hope tat all us of can do well n go to the dream course tat we wan.. *cross fingers* GD LUCK PPL!      Monday, January 14, 2008 12 jan: went to nyp's openhouse wif jocelin, grace, vanessa and hweishyan.. the campus was rather nice, and its quite convienient cos its jus a 5 mins walk frm yck mrt to the poly.. at first, we were rather lost on which way to go frm the campus, so we jus walk all the way down the route blindly.. in the end, we landed up at a place where we onli see those lockers and empty lecture rooms, lolx.. so in the end, we gt no choice bt to flip open the map inside the goodie bag tat they gave us.. and tada! we managed to walked to the school of chemical and life sciences! dere were two guys hu were dere to explain to us the diploma in chem and pharmaceutical tech (if i'm not wrong).. they keep scaring us wif all the modellings, tellin us tat all these are real stuff frm humans and animals etc, lolx.. tats why at first, when they asked us to view the cells thru the microscope, nobody dared to view cos we thought it will look disgustin .. bt in the end, we found out tat they were actualli tryin to make fun of us, zzz.. our next stop was to the lecture room tat tells us about the diploma in food sci.. me and grace were rather interested in tat course after knowing much more about it, lolx.. perhaps, tat course may be one of my choice! =) wanted to explore the sch of biz management.. bt sad to say, they seemed to be onli focusin on the diploma in media studies, which none of us r interested.. so we left the poly and went back to j8 for our lunch cum dinner at kfc, hahax.. headed to tpy wif hweishyan and van after tat.. we walked around the shop houses and pasar malam, and saw quite alot of nice stuff, lolx.. and of cos, i managed to buy 1 top frm dere.. =p 13th jan: went to chinatown n shop wif my family.. shoppin wif them is the best, cos i do not nid to use my own money to pay, hahax.. and my parents were nice enough to buy me a necklace n a pair of converse shoes! happy me! xD Wednesday, January 09, 2008 6th jan: went bugis to shop wif vanessa, jocelin, hweishyan and kenny.. we ordered several dishes frm teenage cafe n eat till super full, lolx.. and since the best way to digest food is to go for retail therapy, we started our shopping spree! hahax, a fruitful one for me, cos i bought 4 tops frm dere.. =p here are the neos tat we took.. lalalala~      7th jan: went to eat seoul garden to eat wif jer, qh, grace, ah ma, jacq, joce, wing n kenny after my work.. we actualli wanted to eat steamboat de, bt when we're at marina bay's mrt station, dere's tis man hu told us tat all the shops in tat area were offically closed on 1st jan to make way for the government to build new stuff dere.. hais, i seriously tink they shld keep tat place intact, cos steamboating is realli a veri fun thing to do if u go wif all ur close friends, lolx.. bt our trip to seoul garden was not too bad oso.. we realli laughed throughout the whole session, and we had fun bbqing the garlic chicken and cam-whoring!! =)         9th jan: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MUMMY! <3 | |
