Sunday, April 27, 2008 26th april: happy birthday png yijia! celebrated her bdae at hagan daz wif kylie, yy, abi, singyee and abi.. we ordered chocolate fondue, and i tink its quite yummy, esp the little cheese cakes, lolx.. after tat, me, kylie, yy and abi took a train to thiong bahru and shop.. its been lyk 2 yrs since i stepped into tat shoppin centre.. it was a fruitful trip, cos i bought 1 tank top, kylie bought 3 tshirts and abi bought her fav archie comics AGAIN, haha! we went to ajisen for dinner, and i ordered spicy char siew ramen set.. although the soup was not tat spicy compared to other outlets, i was still busy drinkin my red bean milkshake and ice water.. =p wanted to continue shoppin, bt yy wans to go back j8 to play her kof.. so while abi rushed back home for tution, me and kylie went to the arcade to play daytona.. finally the pathetic token tat was kept in kylie's wallet for months get to see the light again! somehow, the guy hu was oso competing wif us in the race used some cheatin mtds to win.. is lyk while i was playin half way, i saw his car keep moving in rounds at a veri fast speed.. at 1st i still tot he used turbo or max, bt i saw him stopped in btwn to wait for us.. so its quite obvious tat he cheated, cos he's tryin to make the whole ting not so obvious.. =x    27th april: went for ice-cream at cathay's ben and jerry wif kylie and gwen.. i ordered mix and match set, which consists of 3 scoops of ice-cream on a waffle, 1 wet and dry topping wif whipped cream.. although its quite ex, bt i tink its worth the price, cos its realli yummy, haha.. had a nice chat wif them, and thru all the conversations, both me n kylie agreed tat we noe more about gwen nw.. shopped at ps, and i finally bought my small pencil case.. i cant wait to bring it to sch tmr! LOL headed to amk hub after tat.. gwen bought a white blouse and a pair of black heels frm mondo, while kylie bought a brown belt wif a letter 'S' or 'E' as the buckle, lolx.. went to sumo hse for dinner and home sweet home!  Friday, April 25, 2008 todae was an exciting day for 0807, becos we had planned a surprise birthday party for madiah! the gals had a hard time persuading her to go to the washroom after our last lecture, while me, gwen and felicia were busy unpacking the bdae cake at the corner.. and while i was tryin to light up the candles wif the 'so difficult to use' lighter, i burnt my finger, lolx.. then while we were tryin to bring the cake out, the wind started to blow out the candles, so i hv to light the candles again n again.. we started to panic, cos madiah is coming out of the washroom soon.. and tada! finally she's out, and she was lyk so shocked when she saw the cake tat we gt for her.. the whole class then stood arnd her to sing her a bdae song.. hope she would always rmb tis bdae tat 0807 celebrated for her.. oh, and not to forget, the chocolate cake tat gwen bought frm taka is super duper nice! especially the cereal crust underneath the cake.. =p after tat, part of the class went to kpool! we managed to book 3 tables.. my team consists of me and kylie, while the other consists of felicia and san.. as san is still a beginner, we tried to teach her step by step.. we had a fun time playin and com-whoring, and jus nice when we were about to keep our handphones after takin pictures, the person came to tell us tat we r actualli not supposed to take pics.. luckily, we oredi managed to take quite a few pics, hahax.. headed for the famous western food store at s-11 for dinner wif gwen, andrew, lucas and cowen.. the fish and chips tat i ordered was yummy, esp the tartar sauce and garlic bread! we had a nice time chattin wif each other, and we even planned to play wahjong (viwawa) together at nite, lolx..      the rest headed home after tat, while i went to food junction to meet wing, jocelin, ah ma, hs and grace for our gathering.. as usual, the moment they see me, they will start to make fun of me, lolx.. we went to buy bbt, and went under blk to slack and chit chat.. ah ma wanted to do her accounting hw, bt we didnt let her had the chance to do so, cos we were busy takin pics and videos using her web cam, lolx..    Tuesday, April 22, 2008 jus came back frm dinner @ pastamania wif kylie, gwen, andrew and another guy hu is oso frm bm, jus tat diff class.. it was nice chattin wif them, and tat was the time me n kylie found out tat actualli andrew is a veri friendly guy, not lyk those veri act cool de, lolx.. and the spicy chicken tat i ordered, so spicy! i eat until my face veri red.. =p oh, and before we went for dinner, we went to the club beside our sch to play pool! alot of my classmates went, and of cos i had fun playin and all the 'charity' and stuff lyk tat made the whole ting veri funny, lolx.. and todae, during the module on oral com, we were supposed to present our ppt on local slang.. bt due to the insufficient time, the whole ting was postponed to next week.. bt b4 tat, i was still quite calm and was rather excited to present my slide, cos i realli spent alot of time researching and designing my slide.. hais, later i hv to start doin my statistics hw! heard frm felicia its quite tough, bt i will still try to do lo.. Monday, April 21, 2008 i finally ended my 1-min speech todae! pheww.. actualli i was supposed to be the 2nd one hu present, bt pei qi, hu was suppose to be the 1st person didnt come todae.. so yup, i became the 1st peson hu present.. we went to class earlier to practice, and i tried to speak my speech out loud to my clique.. i was still quite calm then, and tat lucas, keep makin silly comments and wan me to repeat my speech again, lolx.. and of cos i wont repeat, cos its so embarassin.. i was lyk so nervous when i started wif my speech, so when i talk about the days tat i lyk, somehow i heard the teacher mumbling sumting veri amusing, lolx.. and lyk wat kylie said, the way i speak was kind of rush.. =p ok, i gtg prepare for my presentation on local slang tmr.. research, reseach and more research! =) Saturday, April 19, 2008 had a class gathering wif my clique ystd evening.. we ate our dinner at mos, and coincidentially, we saw mani ex-kcpians lyk us, walkin arnd j8 too.. we chit-chatted and kept laughin at all the happenings in our polys, lolx.. oh, and the coffee milkshake tat i ordered ystd tastes so weird.. bt grace n ah ma, hu bought the same drink as me, didnt find anyting wrong wif the drink! hmm, maybe my tastebuds are more sensitive than them, haha.. headed to the benches near the bbt shop to continue wif the chattin till 10pm, and headed home after tat.. hope our clique can hv more of such gatherings! =) oh, and next mon, i will be presentin my 1-min self-intro speech to the class.. i'm kind of nervous, cos i'm goin to be the 2nd one hu present.. uh oh, wish me gd luck! Thursday, April 17, 2008 i realised since i started sch, i hvent been bloggin quite often, lolx.. reason being i'm jus too tired, esp when i hv to carry my 17504885 kg of laptop and txtbooks frm yck all the way back home.. Zzzz.. bt still, dere r certain times when i'm still quite energetic after reachin home.. and tat is todae! i had breakfast at macdonalds wif kylie, and i decided to challenge drinkin iced milo again.. its lyk frm my previous experiences, if i drink cold milo, i will start to feel unwell.. and tada, i was alright even after my 2 hrs of lecture, haha! the funny ting is tat me and kylie actualli lost our way while findin the lecture room.. luckily, felicia (our saviour) called me, and she told me the directions to walk, tats why we were jus slightly late.. =p so after sch, we went to the cca bazaar to look around.. saw certain ccas tat we were quite interetsed to join, lyk tennis and dragon boating.. bt dragon boatin, i doubt i can join, cos my mum was not agreeable of me joinin such a tiring cca.. so yup, i'm hesitiatin on which cca to join, and whether i shld join a cca.. ok, tats all for todae.. i shall go n nibble on my energy provider nw, and tat is my coffee beans chocolate! Sunday, April 13, 2008 time realli flies.. after enjoyin 5 months of holidays after o's, my poly life will officially begin tmr!! i'm excited, bt at the same time, i will oso miss the times when i work and hang out wif my frens throughout my holidays.. so for those hu r goin to start their sch soon, all the best, and meet up soon okies! and for those hu r goin to retake their o's, mus jiayou! u guys can do it! i will miss u guys! =) and nw, time to reminiscence the past! (hope its the correct word to use) =p    time for some recent pictures, lolx..      and tis week, i had been busy wif my orientation.. my classmates are quite friendly, and we had fun playin all the indoor and water games.. oh, and not forgettin, the mass dance and the cheers tat we did together, lolx.. super funny.. and, i'm so glad to announce tat kylie is in the same class as me, BM 0807! yay! i guess i will nv be bored wif her around since she will be entertaining me wif all her silly stuff for at least 1 yr, lolx..     Wednesday, April 02, 2008 hmm.. ystd was april fool's day! maybe cos tis yr i was not in sch, tats why i didnt realli hv the urge to make fun of others, lolx.. bt still, i spend my day wif all sorts of activities.. early in the morning, i met up wif grace, jer n qh to the gym.. its been a long time since i saw ting qian han! and the 1st thing she did when she saw me was to gang up wif grace n jeact me, as usual.. exercising was great, esp the part when i kept running n running on the threadmill, lolx.. after tat, we went home to bathe b4 we met up wif ah ma for our lunch.. our 1st stop was to bugis village.. all of us bought a checkerd blouse each, except ah ma, she bought a sleeveless top instead.. and actualli grace wanted to gt her silver grey skinnys frm penisula, bt they didnt hv much sizes left, so grace has to come back again 2 weeks later? inspired by those elastic belts tat we saw at bugis, we went to chinatown to buy the stuff needed to D.I.Y! i was lyk so shocked when i saw BV sell the belts at lyk $10, when i made my own one at only $2.20.. =x since it was still early, we walked to Central @ clark quay.. the place was still as quiet as the last time we came b4 grad nite to shop.. bought sum sweets frm the jap store n went home after tat.. =) and todae, the same ppl came to my hse after we played badminton under grace's blk.. its their 1st time coming to my hse, and they all commented tat my hse is kind of pink, esp wif the doors and sofa covers, hahax.. and the 1st ting jerlin n grace did when they came was to automatically go n explore my study room.. and the next moment, i saw grace runnin out wif my baby photo and my penguin toy, lolx.. watched the 'water horse' dvd and played cards after tat.. the uno game was super hilarious, cos we kept drawing cards, lolx.. i'm so lookin forward to tmr! cos i can finally buy my laptop! yipeee.. =p | |
