Saturday, July 07, 2007 wohoos, i jus came back frm the ndp family day @ marina bay.. the ndp tis yr was held at the floating stage beside the esplanade.. as my mum was one of the performers, she was given two free tickets for me and my sis to watch.. the atmosphere was great, especially at nite, cos we can see the lights on the high-rise buildings light up, wif the sea breeze blowing on us while we're watchin the performance.. the parachutes performance was exciting, cos whenever they tried to fly down, everybody will be super engrossed, hoping tat he will land on the ground safely, and not drop inside the waters, lolx.. next is the marching parade, and the way the soldiers marched are realli cool.. when the fake "president" arrived, there were five helicopters on the sky, one of them was hanging on to the singapore flag, and the national anthem was played.. after tat, the "president" stood on the car and toured around the whole stage.. the funny part is tat when the "president" was moving towards the back row, the guides, girls brigade and the scouts were busy waving at him.. i always tot tat they were not allowed to move, unless they were given the command to do so.. after tat, the best part finally came, the 3defence show!! they showed all the machines tat they will use if dere's a war, which include helicopters tat can land on the waters, purpose is to drop the soldiers into the water, so tat they can swim towards the war grounds.. there are oso tankers tat have a few secret holes, so tat the soldier can hide while he's shooting at the enemies.. after tat, the real performances finally start at around 7plus.. there were many nice performance, bt those tat attracted me the most were the one which features all the sea creatures in the sea, followed by my mum's performance.. for the sea creatures performance, the kids dressed up as little fishes, starfish, prawns and many more.. the way they ran to the stage wif the bulky costumes are realli cute, lolx.. for my mum's performance, they dress up lyk aliens and dere were small little lightbulbs on their costumes.. there were oso lots of spaceships flyin in the air, which made the dark sky looked veri colourful.. i enjoyed myself dere, bt one thing i regretted the most is tat i did not take any photos using my digita cam, cos my cam suddenly got problem, so it can onli take videos.. bt its okay, at least i managed to take some pics using my hp.. =)  the marching parade..  the cool tanker..  the ballerinas dancing to the tune..   colourful spaceships..    pretty fireworks~ ** if u guys are interested to see the prachute performance, u can click on tis link to view the short video tat i took, lolx.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roTh7pMB32I | |
