Wednesday, November 07, 2007 hahax, todae went out wif grace, ah ma, jocelin, wing and vanessa.. we walked around taka and far east to shop for grad nite clothes.. we were lyk walkin aimlessly around the shops, bt at least me, grace and ah ma managed to buy a necklace each, lolx.. and since there was nothing appealing to us in orchard, we decided to go marina square.. it was much fruitful tis time, cos we went into almost every shop to look at those gowns tat they sell.. i spotted a dress tat i liked frm mango, bt after tryin it on, i tink its abit too long for me.. wing oso tried a gown frm dere, and i tink it looks super 'hot' on her, cos she gt the assets lyk wat ah ma said, wahahax.. oh and not forgettin, the top tat we persuaded jocelin to try on, looks super cute on her, lolx.. we continued walkin around the shops, bt none of us managed to buy anything, so we decided to rest a while and go HANS for a slice of cake.. after tat, we proceeded to suntec city.. we went into a shoe shop, and while the rest were lookin at shoes, me, wing and ah ma went to try on the sungalsses.. i didnt noe tryin on sunglasses can be so fun, hahax.. vanessa went home after tat, while the rest of us went to marina bay for steamboat!!! we wanted to take a bus to the steamboat area.. bt after waiting for so long and wif so many ppl crowdin around the bus stop, we decided to walk to tat place.. its realli nice walkin in the dark wif them, and we talked about quite alot of things which realli made me think of the past, hahax.. and after walkin till our legs were super tired, we finally reached the place.. we laughed and laughed all night, and even though the hot oil keep splattering onto us, we still enjoyed cookin the food.. the prawns tat they gave us were super scary, cos they're all alive, which means they can still jump.. we were screamin lyk mad while we tried to open up the box of praws.. luckily, gt 1 auntie saw the pathetic scene of us screamin, so she came to help us make the prawns die by pouring hot soup into the box.. i nearly choked on my drink when ah ma say she's the princess.. wahahax, i tink u all shld be laughin at it oso rite.. the 'dong fen' part was funny oso, cos i made a fool of myself by sayin it is burnt, when its jus the straw mushroom tat is hangin on the dong fen, which makes it brown in colour, haha.. grace oso no better, she say if the dong fen is cooked, it will turned frm white to transparent.. bt the fact is tat dong fen is always transparent in colour, hahax! and when i mentioned tat the 'balls balls' are oredi floatin on the soup, everybody was lyk laughin non-stop, even though i dun find it funny at all, lolx.. and lyk wat wing said, she thinks tat hvin steamboat is a good way to bond.. i agree to wat she said, cos it realli made us closer together and since its my 1st time eatin steamboat wif my friends at nite, i find it veri memorable for me.. =D *do click on the pics for a larger view..*  we took tis pic while waiting for van to try on her dress frm 'bebe'.. =p  presenting to u, the dao queen- lin ah ma! hahax..  on our way back to bishan after steamboat.. =) | |
