Saturday, September 20, 2008 4joy bbq ystd.. it was not too bad for the chatting, cam-whoring and UNO- ing part, bt i tink it could be better if some negative factors were eliminated.. its okay, jus take it as a gathering before semester 2 starts.. picas will be uploaded next time.. (: todae is a SUPER tiring day, cos i had my training wif the lucas, qh, ah ma n grace.. at 1st, we tot the job tat they ask us to do is to lyk work in roadshows and sell products to help those low-income families, exconvicts etc.. bt in the end, it turned out to be lyk we hv to walk around the place askin ppl to help.. wif every 10 bucks u gif, u will be given a rubics cube.. i knew right frm the start tat it would not be easy to sell, cos most ppl are not willing to jus stop and listen to watever u hv to say.. maybe cos i hv worked sumting liddat b4, so i was not tat scared while approachin the strangers.. and wif a tiny bit of luck after walking so many rounds in toa payoh, i managed to sell 1 cube and obtain 14 bucks in total.. however, even though we didnt reach our target, i had fun laughin wif the rest about how the strangers entertained us and the abdullah ting (inside joke), hahahaha.. had dinner wif lucas after tat, and home sweet home! | |
